Kiehl’s has introduced three new eco-friendly cleansing bars as a part of their Future Made Better Mission aimed at reducing their environmental impact.
Inspired by 3 of their most popular ranges Ultra Facial, Calendula and Rare Earth, the new Kiehl’s Concentrated Facial Cleansing Bars are the perfect way to find a great cleanser to pamper your skin, while also staying environment-friendly. Each covering a specific skin concern.
From the packaging you can already see how eco-friendly it is, made with zero plastic packaging & FSC certified paper carton
The facial bar is 96% biodegradable and formulated with 5x less water than traditional facial cleansers because it is in bar form. It is also made with at least 1 renewable or fairly-traded ingredients As with all their products they are fragrance-free and mineral oil-free.
I received the Rare Earth Deep Pore Purifying Cleansing Bar. I am a big fan of the mask from the rare earth deep pore purifying range. The amazonian white clay and bamboo powder exfoliants gives a nice deep cleanse and exfoliation without drying out the skin. Clay also specifically has the property of purifying, absorbing oil and removing impurities. This one would be targeted for oily skin. You can either use it by lathering it in your hands and then applying it to your face or apply the bar directly to you face for a nice massage and scrub. I prefer the latter. I love the fact that I can really feel the bamboo powder in the bar when I apply it to my skin. After the first wash I visibly noticed my pores appear more minimised this is due to the fact that the clay purifies the impurities and dirt in the pores. There are 2 other bars in the range I have listed the details of them below:
