With winter at our doorstep we can say hello to dry cracking skin but thank goodness for Uriage.Doesn’t feel sticky or leave that wet and cold feeling. Stops the itching and burning feeling quickly. Gentle enough it is even suitable for baby’s skin. Absorbs really quickly into the skin. It contains the magic Uriage Thermal Water which contains many minerals to hydrate the skin from within. Can be used both on face and body. It’s fragrance free so it doesn’t interfere with my perfume. A little goes a long way due to its thick texture.

Okay, so body moisturisers are all fine and good, but for how long do you really feel the effects? Sadly, most of them don’t actually last past lunchtime – that’s why your skin feel perpetually dry, even though you apply cream regularly. This is one of the many reason why I don’t bother using them and since I’ve switched to a shower cream my skin always feels hydrated and never feel dry. Another reason is I don’t like the wet, cold and sticky feeling they leave behind only to leave my skin in the same dry condition it was an hour later however with this body lotion all of the above concerned are addressed.

Basically Uriage Thermal water works as follows:

Multiple mineral properties, for healthier, better protected skin.

Moisturizing

Thanks to its high concentration in mineral salts similar to the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factors, it offers unique moisturizing benefits.

Soothing

It soothes sensitive skin thanks to the high level of calcium and magnesium salts.

Protective

Silicon strengthens the skin hydrolipidic film. It also helps restore the cutaneous barrier, thanks to mineral salts
