The packaging: As always Garnier products are vegan formula and contain no animal-derived ingredients or by products. Both the box and bottle are fully recyclable as they are made from cardboard and glass respectively. Also love that it comes in a dropper bottle so makes application really mess free and easy.
The results: I have always been a fan of charcoal as an ingredient for skincare as it has purifying properties which is great for acne prone skin. I like to use this as a targeted treatment on spots and blemishes. I have also tried it fully on my face and did notice that my pores were less visible and my skin was mattified so this would be a great one for under makeup as well in place of a primer. Also I was a bit scared when I saw the colour of the serum but not to worry there is no black residue on the skin as the serum absorbs into the skin really quickly. It leaves your skin a bit sticky but afterwards but this is great if you use as a primer so your makeup will stick better or if you follow with a moisturiser. I have been using this for a months now and have definitely noticed a reduction in blemishes and pore size.
