July rubybox

This month the box contained many items that were not seen in SA before so I was really curious to discover what was in the box. So let’s get down to it.

1. Lash Card-2 sheets (R69.95-10 sheets)

Say good bye to messy mascara application with these little helpers. For ladies with long lashes this works like a charm. Inspired by the business card trick it is designed to cover your eyelid with the correct shape and size so that you can apply your new VA VA Volume Mascara without it straying. No mess, no fuss! Great to complement the mascara that was in the box. I enjoyed using these to apply mascara on my lower lashes which always ends up being such a mess.

2. Rubybox Beauty Va Va Volume Mascara-full size (R139.95-9ml)

Excitement! This newly launched item produced by rubybox themselves. This is a volume boosting mascara that gives fat lashes instantly. The formula is thick and tacky so it dries really quickly, coats the lashes very nicely and holds my lashes nicely in place after I curled it with an eye lash curler. Very creamy and buildable formula which allows me to customise my look. Lasted all day without smudging or flaking. The brush is a little longer than the average wand and just the right size to reach the short lashes.

3. Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask-3 sachets (R365 for 75ml)

The quick 10 minute intense hydrating mask is exactly what I need when winter turns into a desert. This is probably my all time favourite hydration mask. It smells amazing and afterwards my skin feels hydrated, fresh and soft.

4. Clarins HydraQuench Cream-3 sachets (R495 for 100ml)

Another goodie for dry skin I use to use this before Kiehl’s landed in SA. It just melts into the skin so amazingly and gives me a hydrated glowing complexion.

5. Prada candy EDP-1.5ml (R820 -50ml)

The composition includes an elegant mix of musk in the top, a sensual balsamic vanillic accord of benzoin in the heart and sweet modern caramel in the base of the fragrance. This to me is a very playful fragrance I pick up the sweet caramel but the powdery musk gives it a bit of an edge so you don’t end up smelling like caramel popcorn.
