Review: Maybelline Sky High Colour Mascara

Can you imagine my excitement when I saw the news that my fave Maybelline mascara is releasing a coloured line and one of the colours being pink too. Colour mascaras can add a subtle fun pop of colour without having to do a fancy eye shadow look so it is a win.

What is it For?

All the same features of length and volume in lashes just in a coloured version. There are 3 colours: Pink Air, Blue Mist and Burgundy Haze.

How does it feel?

Like with the OG. The formula is pretty perfect. Not too dry and not too wet. The formula glides on the lashes and does not clump when extra coats are applied and does not flake throughout the day. My lashes appear longer and fuller.

Because my lashes are naturally dark I found the the colour to be quite subtle but still visible up close. The pink and burgundy are recommended to work best on light coloured lashes however I have always found the blue to work great on dark lashes.

What’s Special About The Design?

The packaging matched the original mascara just in the colour that corresponds with the colour of the mascara which I though was very helpful and eye catching. The brush is the OG flex tower brush so bends with your lashes and helps to really lift and volumise.

How Do You Use It?

Place the brush on your lashes and glide from root to tip. Repeat until you get the desired result.

Where can I find it?

Available most supermarkets and independent pharmacies however Pink Air is available exclusively in Chemist Warehouse.

RRP: €14.50
