If you’re a lash lift or false lash lover, then listen up. Before you book your appointment or using those 5 times old falsies because I’ve may have found a mascara that will give you the same effect for just €17.95/£13.49.
The product is by L’oreal so a trusted easily available drug store brand. All you have to do is pop into your local Boots, Superdrug, pharmacy or Tesco and there this gem will be waiting for you.
The latest from the range is the Lift version but the Extension (for lengthening) and the Volume one has been around for a while. The lift version however seems to be the 2 older sisters combined giving both length and volume.
The brand claims that the 2-step doubled-ended infused with pro-keratin (a protein naturally found in hair that is known for its strengthening properties) mascara, allows you to have intense volume and a salon-like lash lift. End number 1 has a straight brush, promising up to 17x volume and the other is cleverly contoured and curved for a 20° uplift and curl effect.
As you can see on the photo I did notice a significant difference in my lashes especially from the Lift one but all the mascaras do what they are targeted to do depending on your particular concerns. Also safe to say whilst this mascara does not claim to be waterproof it does remind me of waterproof mascara in that it didn’t budge all day and I had to apply a bit more extra effort to remove it.
