This month’s box was a real treat filled with many of my favourites. A really great start to 2013 with lots of great treats for the hair which if you are typical South African who all run to a sea side holiday and with the sun and sea water it is really bad for the hair.

 

1. Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor  deep conditioner-2x20ml sachets (R85.99-250ml)

This brand makes the most amazing hair care products I try other brands but always end up back to this one my hair just can’t get enough of it. Say goodbye to dry damaged hair and hello to luscious shiny locks! The Australian balm mint extract aloe vera soothes rough cuticles and helps restore manageability and adds shine in just 3 minutes. I love to leave it in while I am in the shower so the heat helps the product penetrate better and the scent of grape fizz pops just fills room. You really do notice results after the first use and with the generous sachet size I can get at least 6 uses.

 

2. Elie Saab le parfum EDP-1ml (R715-50ml)

This fragrance is one of my absolute favourite scents of all time and is the scent I wear most often. Such a femine scent. It’s a floral scent but not over floral if that makes sense it opens with a fresh burst of radiant orange blossom and luminous gardenia before making way for soft rose honey and sensual vetiver,

 

3. L’Or é al paris revitalift  total repair 10 SPF 20-5ml (R175.95-50ml)

A multitasking day cream that contains 10 active ingredients to fight the 10 signs of ageing in 1 application for firmer, smoother, more even and luminous skin plus it has a nice built in SPF 20 so no need to layer sunscreen. The cream is much thicker than the day creams I have tried which is great for my dry skin . Very moisturising but still light on the skin.

 

4. Schwarzkopf gliss marrakesh oil and coconut shampoo and  conditioner-2x10ml (R47.99-250ml)

Developed specifically for normal to stressed hair the hydrating Marrakesh oil and nourishing coconut milk combine with liquid keratin to give up to 3 times more shine. After the first wash my hair is left soft, supple, shiny and beautifully scented without feeling weighed down or like I threw a whole lot of
oil on my hair

 

 

5. Rubybox Tools make-up removal  sponge-full size (R39.95)

This to me is the only way to cleanse the skin. These sponges are made in France they are really soft so they don’t rub, scratch or irritate the skin. Really gentle and gives you the squeaky clean feeling. Just rinse thoroughly after use so they are ready to use again next time.
