I was recently sent a product and information booklet from the lovely OFRA. So I thought I would give you a bit of background on the company and products before I share my thoughts on product I received.

Ofra Gaito has been a CIDESCO Therapist and involved in the beauty industry since 1979. She began as a therapist/esthetician working in South Africa and very soon after, she had her own Beauty Salon/Spa, which grew into two salons. These salons were considered the busiest in Johannesburg throughout the 80’s, employing 15 staff members. In the nineties,Ofra began representing a few European
cosmetic companies with a distribution network of several hundred salons/spas. In the early nineties, she was offered a distribution opportunity for one of the European cosmetic companies in Australia and New Zealand. Ofra took the opportunity and moved to Australia with her husband and three children and extended her distribution network to 400 salons.She became a market leader in the professional salon business.In the mid nineties, Ofra created her own brand

Ofra saw the opportunity for growth and sold her company in Australia and New Zealand and moved to the United States where she created a skin care,make-up and depilatory wax range, as well. Ofra now has her own Corporate Warehouse/Offices and manufacturing plant in Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida.

The company is currently supplying many different countries, including the United States market. Ofra’s self-production consists of makeup, skin care and depilatory wax lines. In March
2001, the company opened their first United States OFRA Day Spa and Laser Center which provides exclusive Face & Body Treatments using OFRA Cosmetics entire Skin Care and Make-Up lines.

Ok so let’s get down to swatches and what I thought of the rainbow lips in chocolicious. Basically it is a lip wheel consisting of 6 colors in a beautiful combination to suit all skin tones. In the pallet the product looks really dark but once you apply it to the lips it is actually not that dark it is really pigmented and has a light vanilla scent and is really soft so goes on very smoothly. The best part about is it’s really functional for a person on the go as it contains a selection of colors so you can change your look really quickly without having to carry around 6 different lipsticks. Some shades are matt and others are shimmery but all last really long as I find it leaves a tint to the lips as it starts to wear off during the day from normal activities like drinking and eating. Really recommend this product and with the wide selection you will be sure to find one that you like.
