GOSH a Danish makeup brand, is my favorite budget-friendly, high quality, cruelty-free and suitable for vegans makeup . It brings me great excitement to showcase to you the latest AW17 collection. (the theme is Nordic magic). All products are great value for money and the packaging is compact and sleek.

  1. GOSH Primer Plus Skin Adaptor Anti-Pollution Primer in Chameleon (R 255)

The Primer Plus Skin Adaptor contains a secret weapon called Cityguard+ complex which is based on marine origin ingredients which protect the skin from atmospheric pollution such as cigarette smoke and car exhaust fumes, it also fights free radical damage that can lead to signs of ageing. The product comes out of the tube looking white but once you apply it to your skin it actually changes to adapt to your skin tone from the pigment beads in the formula. It offers up a sheer tint (not much coverage) to it to even out your skin tone and gives you a healthy looking glow, and of course being a primer it creates a lovely smooth surface for applying makeup. It is quite moisturising but a little tacky so makeup can better stick.

  1. GOSH My Favourite Mascara (R165)

Specially formulated to be the perfect ‘everyday mascara’ it gives you natural looking lashes without the drama. The mascara want is small and mad from rubber does a really good job at separating lashes and can be easily removed with just warm water. Personally, I like more drama and length for my mascaras, but it’s certainly not a bad choice if you prefer a very natural looking mascara for every day. This mascara is infused with oak extract to nourish the lashes. Mascara does not clump or flake and lasts the whole day.

  1. GOSH Prime ‘N’ Set Primer & Mattifying Banana Setting Powder (R235)

I’m sure by now you should have heard about the invention that is banana power. If you haven’t used a banana powder before, it’s basically a yellow-toned setting powder which helps to banish dark under eye circles. I use this underneath my eyes to set my concealer. I apply my concealer the dab the powder over it with a makeup sponge ( better known as baking) and sweep off excess with a big fluffy brush after a  few minutes. I definitely helps to brighten things up under there, but it’s also great as an overall setting powder

I am so glad GOSH brought out their own version of this now-cult classic of famous Ben Nye Banana Powder isn’t all that easy to get hold of in the UK unless you order online and I can safely say this is a perfect dupe. It is suitable for all skin tones. I have dry skin but I found it doesn’t dry out the skin or make it feel uncomfortable.

  1. GOSH 9 Shades Eyeshadow Palette in To Party In London (R280)

Inspired by the glitz and glamour of London’s night life. The new palette features 9 highly pigmented beautiful pearly and metallic shades in different textures. Each shade is buttery soft, easy to blend and work with. The packaging is glossy black, nice and compact, and contains a large mirror which makes this palette great for travelling with. I really love the mix of shades as there are so many combination of looks you can create with it and you won’t need to reach for another pallete. The pallete contains gold, copper tones, plum, pink, mahogany and taupe. The striking metallic are intense and last extremely well. I think this palette is more focused on night time but the lighter shades can be applied for a daytime look. No creasing. No fall out. Nice compact packaging. Nice mix of colours making this the only pallete you may need. Buttery soft consistency. Love love love!

  1. GOSH Eye Shadow Primer (R165)

The easy creamy crayon easily glides on your lids and blended out nice and easily with the sponge tip on the other side. The colour is a nice neutral base and makes shadow look more intense.

  1. GOSH Growth Serum Brows (R165)

GOSH has a new Growth Serum which aims to give you thicker and fuller brows with daily use said to give hope to over tweezed arches, based on the proven SymPeptide XLASH, the effective serum fuels the natural growth of eyebrows. By stimulating the Keratin genes, it enhances the appearance of length and thickness of the brow. A goodie if you have had an eyebrow disaster.

  1. GOSH Brow Shape & Fill in Grey Brown 002 (R165)

This is a 2 in 1 brow product with an angled eyebrow pencil on one end and a powder on the other. The retractable angled skinny pencil made it very easy to outline your brows and get a nice precise shape and the soft powder end is for filling and setting them afterwards. It reminds me of the Maybelline Brow Satin. It’s a a dual ended product, featuring a brow pencil on one end and a powder on the other. These can be used together or individually to create your ideal brow look.

  1. GOSH Lumi Drops in 012 Rosegold (R160)

Lumi Drops are basically liquid highlighters, blushers and bronzers, depending on what shade you pick up. I have the Rose gold which is a beautiful peachy-rose liquid blusher with a gold shimmer which is perfect for glowy on the cheeks – a drop or two is all you need to use!  I have the shade 012 Rose Gold. It comes in a small squeeze bottle with a tiny nib for easy no mess no fuss dispensing. Lumidrops has a fluid gel consistency. I drop a few drops on the back of my hand and tap my finger in it and make 4 dots along my check bone then use 2 fingers to tap and blend it. It is actually pretty subtle but buildable if you repeat it a couple of times. The colour re minds me of the famous NARS Orgasm Blush.

  1. GOSH Lift & Highlight in 001 Nude (R185)

This clever Lift & Highlight duo-pencil is a one of those makeup trick tools that create a big difference. This nifty pencil features a matte nude coloured pencil on one end, and a shimmery light-reflective pencil on the other. I use the matte end to carve out my brows and line my water line. It is super pigmented, creamy and soft so it won’t irritate your eyes when it is applied to the water line, If it matches your skin-tone it can also double up as a concealer. The shimmery gold end I use to highlight and brighten the inner eye corner and on my brow bone and the cupid’s bow. It reminds me of the Benefit’s High Brow but without the price tag.

  1. GOSH Strobe ‘N’ Glow Kit in 001 Highlight (R285)

Glow baby glow! As far as highlighting palettes go, this one by far is the most impressive. In the Strobe ‘N’ Glow Kit you get four huge pans of different highlighter shades that a super pigmented. Great as it has every highlight shade you can think of. I particularly am obsessed with the iridescent holographic pearly white shade as no many brands make this. Powders have a creamy smooth texture. But I feel it is better to use your finger as brushes don’t pick up as much product since the powder is packed very tight.

  1. GOSH colour corrector kit 001 (R195)

All 5 shades are creamy and easy to blend. Super compact and easily fits into your makeup bag also has a nifty mirror in the lid which is great for makeup emergencies on the go. The kit contains every shade concealer you could ever need:

  • Nude– Most common colour to cover and conceal imperfections
  • Yellow– To cover purple or blue, so great for veins, bruises and under eye circles.
  • Green– To neutralise redness on the skin.
  • Purple– To eliminate any yellow tones on the skin.
  • Peach– To brighten the under eye area and cover signs of fatigue & works well on olive skin to give radiance.

Yellow was my fave really brightened up the eye area and great combo when baked with the banana powder. Coverage is great and this kit is really handy.
