Review: Jimmy Choo L’EAU EDT

Jimmy Choo has just released a new fragrance and I am so excited to be wearing to this in the spring months. I have always hoped that Jimmy would release a more floral fragrance type. Jimmy Choo blossom was a step in the right direction but not quite there yet but this one has hit the nail on the head perfectly.

The Story:
Jimmy Choo L’EAU is an expression of the dynamic, alluring and adventurous Jimmy Choo woman for Summer 2017. As delicate as she is defiant, as elegant as she is audacious; the Jimmy Choo Woman’s duality is matched by L’EAU’s strong, free-spirited yet resolutely feminine scent. The fragrance is a sensual evocation of the Jimmy Choo woman with pure and subtle notes heightened by hibiscus flower. The contrasting notes are an expression of modern femininity, writing a new chapter in the history of Jimmy Choo Parfums and placing L’EAU amongst the most coveted of Jimmy Choo accessories.

The fragrance is a real symphony with an opening of bergamot that uplifts and motivates.  Then Hibiscus and peony take center stage and is backed by back up dancer soft musky base which stays long after the show has finished. Hibiscus is a note I don’t see often in a scent since many of the flowers don’t actually have any scents but the ones that do have a honey type scent.

Top Notes: Bergamot and Hibiscus

Heart Notes: Nectarine and Peony

Base Notes: Cedarwood and Musks

This fragrance is not too sweet and is a beautiful feminine scent. The bottle itself is beautifully crafted in blush pink (a very trending colour of 2017) The usual bottle design except this bottle is longer and oval which I actually like more as it takes up less space and is easier to hold. This one is definitely worth a sniff the next time you are in-store.
