Yves Saint Laurent beauty welcomes Dua Lipa as global makeup ambassador in an iconic partnership championing individuality and celebrating culture for the launch of YSL Loveshine

Since 2019, Dua Lipa has fronted the Libre franchise as a YSL Beauty Global Brand Ambassador; now she is appointed as Global makeup Ambassador for YSL Beauty. The first launch with the YSL loveshine range. In the franchise there are 3 lines: Candy Glaze lip gloss stick, wet shine lipstick and the candy glow tinted butter balm. I’ll be showing the wet shine lipsticks.

How does it feel?

It feels like a tinted lip balm. Very hydrating, light weight and nourishing. The darker colours have more pigment in them in comparison to the nude shades but the candy glaze lines would have more colour payoff. It glides on like a dream. Great to see YSL jumping on the lip oil trend. Gives a nice subtle glossy effect. The ranges can also be used together during our masterclass with Fred to recreate the look from the campaign he layered number 5 candy glaze and number 44 loveshine. Since I received these I have been using 154 daily as it is just so easy to put on and forget about it. It’s more lower maintenance than a lipstick since it’s more sheer I don’t need to worry about it smudging or needing to be super precise on application so such a great daily lip product if you just want some colour on your lips and of course it has lip care treatment benefits in it too like with all YSL products.

What’s Special About The Design?

In true YSL style the designs are always sleek and luxe with the metallic sliver case and the YSL logo on the pink band in the middle of the tube. You can distinguish this from candy glaze by the lighter pink band.
