Review: Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation

Since the launch of Teint Idole Ultra Wear in 1997 Lancome has made some upgrades and improvements

The Most Important Thing About Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation Is…

A new and improved formula upgraded to give every skin type, tone and concern the thinnest, most breathable natural matte.

What Does It Look Like On?

Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation does what it says. Creates a full coverage natural matte finish. It easily covers blemishes, redness, dark circles and pigmentation I didn’t feel the need to reach for a concealer.

What Skin Type Is It For?

Suitable for all skin types, tones and Ages. From dry, sensitive, and acne prone skin. Comes in 50 shades to suit all skin tones.

You Will Love This If…

If you’re looking for a 24 hour lasting full-coverage foundation that is lightweight, has 81% skincare benefits, blend easily, does not cake and is transfer proof.

Hero Ingredients:

Concentrated with 81% skincare serum including Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Moringa and pre-probiotics to deliver lasting hydration, an anti-pollution effect and skin barrier protection.

What Does It Feel Like?

It feels like skin. It is so ultra thin and breathable I forget I have it on.

What Does It Smell Like?

It has a slight floral scent to it but you won’t notice it when it is applied.

What’s Special About The Design?

The frosted, heavy recyclable glass bottle made with 25% recycled glass. With a luxurious black lid donned with Lancome’s signature rose emblem gives this foundation it’s luxe style. I would say though since the bottle is frosted the actual shade looks different from what you see on the bottle so definitely swatch them if you are looking for a shade.

How Do You Use It?

As this is a full coverage foundation, less goes a long way. Apply one pump of foundation to your sponge/foundation brush/fingers (figure our which one works best on your skin. I personally prefer using a brush for even and light coverage) and blend outwards. Work in fast, dabbing motions as you don’t want the foundation to dry before you could blend it.

Available at Brown Thomas, Boots and Arnotts for a RRP of €45
