Firstly YSL are notorious for packing skin care benefits into each of their products with all ingredients being sustainably sourced from their Ourika gardens in Morocco. This one contains citrus peel & 100% niacinamide. Niacinamide helps to strengthen the skin barrier to help skin combat external aggressors. Citrus peel contains vitamin C and protects the skin to ensure a fresher younger looking complexion.
The directions are to apply 7 drops after skincare and before makeup. Because it is a chemical SPF it does not leave a white cast on the skin and absorbs really quickly into the skin. Given that it is 8 times thinner than other UV protectors it does not leave skin feeling greasy or heavy. It works really well as a base for makeup, oil free and leaves skin feeling hydrated. It packs the highest possible SPF factor 50 so you can be assured you are protected.
